This guest spent his holiday in bed and breakfast in Rome at Quodlibet on: 9/2015
My friends and I stayed at QuodLibet for four nights in September 2015 and we?re all agreed that we could not have asked for a better hotel!
When we arrived, we were greeted by Agustino, who emanated warmth throughout our stay and was a great source of local knowledge, as to how to get to popular tourist attractions within this vast and beautiful city. His advice meant that we were often able to overcome the queues and spend more time in Rome?s most historic and breath-taking venues. Every morning, we were promptly served breakfast, which featured some of the tastiest pastries and bread that I have had the pleasure to enjoy. Overall, breakfast was both plentiful and filling, with a great continental spread of meats, cheeses, dairy products and those unforgettable pastries! Should you come to QuodLibet, it is absolutely essential to visit the bakery next door, which supplies the pastries for breakfast - as they have a diverse spread of tasty, fresh baked goods on offer, which can offer a nice alternative to lunch or dinner at a ristorante or pizzeria.
Our room was spacious and warm and certainly enough space for my two friends and I. We slept on three single beds, all of which were comfortable. Our room featured a large TV (which had a HDMI port, should you want to connect with your laptop or computer), Espresso machine and mini-fridge (stocked with complimentary drinks); all of which we made good use all! We additionally had air conditioning, which was effective in cooling the room, on some of Rome?s warmer days.
Our bathroom was stunning; with a well-sized shower and basin facilities, as well as a stock of complimentary shower gels, shampoos and lotions. The room was attended to daily by housekeeping and was always cleaned to an impeccable standard. We had use of Wi-Fi throughout our stay, which was mostly good, despite being on occasion, rather slow.
When looking for hotels, I look for authenticity, warmth and that ?personal touch? that some of the major hotel chains lack. I am glad that I stumbled across QuodLibet, as it staff went to great lengths to ensure our comfort and happiness throughout our stay. Staying here, you will find the staff to be warm and personable and passionate about the city they live in.
Should you stay at QuodLibet, you will smile upon both arrival and departure, at the rare gem you have found within Italy's Roma.
