This guest spent his holiday in bed and breakfast in Rome at Quodlibet on: 7/2015
QuodLibet is run with attention to detail. It is stylish, comfortable and friendly. At check-in, Agostino had plenty of time to show us our location on a map of Rome and suggest good walking routes and restaurants. The room was delightful - stylishly decorated and very comfortable. The 5 days we stayed were hot and humid, so the reverse-cycle air conditioners were welcome at the end of a long day's walking. We stayed with our teenage daughter and were slightly worried that the 3rd bed in the room wouldn't be long enough, but unless you are very tall it will be fine. The room was very quiet, facing the building's interior courtyard. The location near the Vatican is away from the some of the main tourist areas, but the metro is only 150m away. There are many great local restaurants close to the north-west (away from the Vatican, such as Pizzeria La Boccaccia which sells very good pizza by the slice and Siciliainbocca, which is quite fancy) which you may find cheaper and better than the tourist restaurants. There's a 24hr bakery a few metres away, and convenience stores on the route to the metro. And Agostino has plenty of good recommendations. Breakfast was very good - toast, bakery items, boiled egg, yoghurt, juice and coffee, with more of everything offered. We had to leave early on our last day so Agostino made sure everything was ready so we could help ourselves and even showed me how to make a cappuccino using the milk-frother in the kitchen. QuodLibet is very highly recommended, and we hope to return.
