This guest spent his holiday in bed and breakfast in Rome at Quodlibet on: 6/2015
We arrived in Rome for the start of our 30th anniversary trip. When in the train station, ready to board the train from the airport to arrive at our location, my husband was pick pocketed of his drivers license, debit card, credit card and some cash. Yes, we read about being careful and we were....it took less than 5 minutes for the girl (I know who did this.....beware of teenage girls in the train station offering to help you with your luggage...we declined of course but they are so good at what they do....)to rip us off.....Anyway, you can imagine our frustration and anger after traveling all night. We were tired and now very upset and that's how we arrived at our destination.
We were met with a kind host, who helped us contact all those we needed to fix our issues with our experience. He was calm and very helpful. The first room was stayed in was large and was wonderful for putting all our "stuff" out without it being in the way. The shower was great and the bed was very comfortable. We did have to move to another room however after there was an issue with the plumbing. They moved all our belongings to a much smaller room but it was still nicely decorated and the bed was just as comfortable.
The breakfast room was very quiet and the food was simple yet delicious and let us be on our way pronto. This location is great. Within a 10 minute walk to the Vatican and the subway is within a 5 minute walk. There is a 24 hour bakery very close and that should be your landmark coming off the train or taxi. We had a bit of an issue trying to find the place but that is part of the adventure of traveling and it really wasn't a big deal. Our host also helped us secure a taxi to the train so we can get to the port, helped us buy the tickets online and printed them out for us. He even helped us with our luggage to the taxi and made sure we weren't over paying by telling us the fixed price to the train station.
We would highly recommend this lodging and wish we had started our vacation without being ripped off---relieved our first night in Rome was in a great place with great people.
