This guest spent his holiday in bed and breakfast in Rome at Quodlibet on: 4/2013
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Quodlibet for 3 nights at the end of April
This is a lovely B&B and the hosts Agostino and Gianluca were so very helpful in helping us with our planning.
Agostina had organised for us a private trip around the Vatican with Stephen (from I Spy Rome)
This was in the afternoon of our arrival and it really set the tone for the rest of the holiday. Stephen was a friend of Agostino and this was a new tour that they were just setting up.
Many thanks it was amazing.
Agostini also drew out an interesting itinary for us and places to eat, one of which was Il Ragno D'Oro. We went there the first night and enjoyed it so much that we went the following nights also. It is very popular with the locals and we found that we needed to be there by 7:30 to get a seat. The host at Ragno (Fabio) is quite eccentric and very welcoming and the food excellent. A good recommendation from Agostino.
I don't know which room we had It was on the front and walls painted green with a mural scene of a steam train in the country. Very clean and spacious and when we opened the windows the smell from the bakery below made us feel like "The Bisto Kids"!
As said by many others who have stayed here the breakfast is amazing all served very efficiently to our room. The spread was delicious and more than we could manage it set us up for the rest of the day.
Many thanks to our hosts for such a memorable holiday we will certainly recommend the Quodlibet to our friends. And as my wife threw a coin in the Trivoli fountain then surely we will be back here ourselves!
