Che ha soggiornato in bed and breakfast a Roma presso il QuodLibet nel mese di: 6/2013
Our family of four stayed at QuodLibet for three nights in June, 2013. To save some dollars, our two daughters shared our room with us. They provided additional beds to accommodate our entire party. The room was spacious and very clean.
The hosts are very gracious and the breakfasts great. Their booking service was able to arrange door-to-door van service from Rome's airport to the B & B for just 52 Euro's (that was for all four people and our luggage). On the morning we left, we asked the host to arrange for a van to get us to the main train station, for our journey to Florence. They were there in 15 minutes. As a parting gift, they also provided us with a bottle of wine -- which was unexpected and appreciated.
Our hosts provided excellent suggestions regarding restaurants. One of their suggestions for lunch turned out to be especially good. A place called LuMa, only a couple of short blocks from the B & B. I am of Italian ancestry and was born in New York -- so I have consumed plenty of good pasta. That said, the pasta I was served at LuMa may be the best I have ever eaten. We also enjoyed the grilled vegetables and caprese salad there. All for a very reasonable price. If I lived in Rome, I would probably eat there every couple of days.
The key advantage to this B & B, however, is its location. It is located in the Prati district, just north of the Vatican, on a very attractive tree-lined street. The neighborhood is residential and home to a variety of nice (and reasonably priced) restaurants. A very short walk to the metro stop, which is also nice -- especially if you come back to the B & B late at night. Always felt safe in this neighborhood.
Walking distance to both St. Peter's square and the Vatican Museums.
If we came back to Rome, we would be sure to rebook with QuodLibet.
