Che ha soggiornato in bed and breakfast a Roma presso il QuodLibet nel mese di: 12/2012
Having traveled for more that 24 hours, we arrived exhausted at Quodlibet late in the evening and were pleasantly surprised by our welcome. After we had settled into our room, not only were we treated to tea and biscotti at 8:00pm, but we were given a 'briefing' of the ins and outs of Quodlibet and Rome. Gianluca pulled out a map of Rome and asked us about preferences and priorities, what we'd like to see and do during our six day stay. He offered us some wonderful recommendations on restaurants, out-of-the ordinary sites, and was just truly a most gracious host.
We can't say enough about Quodlibet. Our room was most quaint and very very clean. By far the cleanest hotel that we have ever stayed at in Europe! The room service was superior. Each morning we were regaled with an Italian breakfast served right in the room which was quite tasty and filling. On New Year's Eve, we were most touched when we returned to the room around 5pm to see a bottle of prosecco with chocolates feting our stay.
Every day Gianluca or Agostino made a point to see what we had planned for the day and offered us suggestions. Our discussions about Italian culture and politics were very interesting, opening up a new views and perspectives, and making us feel much closer to our host country and its friendly people.
Quodlibet is situated in a quiet residential area near the Vatican. Transportation is very convenient; there is a metro stop right nearby and the neighborhood is most quaint with lots of eateries frequented by locals. For a quick snack, a bakery in the same building is open 24/7.
We are still lamenting if it would be a good idea for the owners to 'franchise' Quodlibet throughout Europe as it is not an easy task to find clean, personable, and comfortable places that make integration with locals and their culture a snap.
