We've really enjoyed our stay. It was carpe diem and experiencing the real dolce vita (for us Northern Europeans :) The hosts gave us some tips on how to enjoy our stay, shared their vies on politics and gave us the chance to use the tea-room, while waiting for the taxi.
Due to the fact that it is only appr. 10 minutes walk to the Vatican, we were able to witness the last public performance of the Pope saying goodbye to 50.0000 people on the Square! Something rarely happens and you won't experience in Holanda.
I would absolutely recommed this place to my friends and also in winter, because we had perfect weather for walking around this beautiful city.
